Orange Soda

I am not a fan of very many kinds of soda. Most times you will find me drinking a cola (Pepsi all the way!), the occassional Sprite or 7up and every once in awhile orange soda!!

I was having a glass of orange soda with lunch yesterday and since Karsen has been working on his straw skills, I decided to let him try it.

Not much was happening with the suction so I caught some in the end of the straw and put it in his mouth that way.

His reaction is priceless!!

I can't stop watching this! It's so funny!

I guess it's safe to say he's not a fan of orange soda like his mom. That's ok, that just means there's more for me!

Hello. Again.

Yep. We're still alive!

And yes, I did make the blog private for awhile. I didn't single people out - only I was able to view it. I just hadn't posted in so long that I decided to hide it for awhile.

I hope to keep up with blogging again...but I have said that before and look what happened!

I don't have much to write about now, so here's a video of Karsen playing with one of our dogs, Turi.

The Easter Bunny

Yesterday we went to the Mill Creek Town Center for their Easter event that they were having. There were a bunch of people and kids there and luckily it was a really nice, warm and sunny day! Karsen is too young still for most of the events that they had going on, like the treasure hunt, but we went to see the Easter Bunny!

There were two places in the center doing Easter Bunny pictures, one with a person dressed as a bunny and the other with a real live bunny. I really wanted to have Karsen's picture taken with the real bunny, especially since I find Easter Bunny costumes kind of creepy, but the place with the real bunny was just too expensive for us, especially with me not working right now. Maybe next year.

I got Karsen all dressed up to see the Easter Bunny and he looked really cute (not that I'm biased or anything, hehe!)

Here is his picture:

Karsen did really well with the Easter Bunny holding him, he didn't cry or anything! Hopefully he will always be that way, but we'll see next Christmas with Santa. Our friends, the Brooks family, went to see the Easter Bunny too. Their 2-year-old son, Kai, didn't want to have anything to do with the Easter Bunny. So they only got a picture of their 3-week-old son, Jette, with the Easter Bunny. Gotta love toddlers! Haha!

A Fresh Start

I'm back!

It has been WAAAAY too long since I've blogged and I'm hoping to keep up with it...again.

A lot has happened in the past couple of months since I really blogged about what we've been up to. However, instead of trying to play catchup and blog about everything that has happened since our trip to California in October (that was the last real post), I'm basically starting fresh.

To start things off, I thought I would post this video of Karsen clapping. He actually started clapping last Thursday (March 18th), but anytime I would pull out my phone to get it on video, he would stop....of course. This video is from Monday (March 22nd.)
